By placing an order through this website you agree to the following trade terms and conditions:

Any orders placed using our website at www.gentlefolk.com.au is a direct purchase from the winery by you the customer. All wines are sold subject to availability, any vintage or price changes will be notified prior to processing and dispatch. We accept payment by MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Delivery

Orders are normally dispatched within five working days from receipt of order using either, Couriers Please, Australia Post or the most cost effective carrier depending upon your location. Please give clear instructions regarding address, location and what to do if nobody is at home when the carrier calls. Wine is dispatched and delivered only between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. While we will endeavour to deliver by any requested or agreed date, we do not guarantee delivery on that date and we are not liable for any loss resulting from late delivery. Gentle Folk Wine reserves the right not to dispatch wines in exceptionally hot weather (30 deg C and above) at Gentle Folk Wine or at the end destination.

Covid-19 Delivery Protocol

Couriers have announced some temporary changes to how they deliver parcels. These changes are effective immediately. These measures are intended to keep essential freight links operating with as little disruption as possible and ensure the safety of all involved in the supply chain.

All Couriers drivers will:

  1. Knock on the door as usual and step back two metres (or as far back as safe)

  2. They will wait for the occupant to come to the door and greet them as usual

  3. They will then ask for the recipient's name, sign the scanner with ‘ATL’ and leave the parcel in a sensible place for the customer to pick up once they leave

  4. If no one comes to the door and the franchisee considers the location a safe drop, the standard ATL process will be followed

  5. If no one comes to the door and the franchisee does not consider the location a safe drop, they will follow the standard failed delivery card process.

Sale of Alcohol

Under the provisions of the Liquor Licensing Act (LLA) 1997; It is illegal to sell wine to anyone under the age of 18. By placing an order with Gentle Folk Wine you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Remember, it is an offence to obtain liquor on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years; this includes purchasing the wines as a gift. If in doubt our carrier may request some form of ID with proof of age at the time of delivery.
