Shipping and Delivery Policy

  • GENTLE FOLK delivers wine ordered online within Australia only using Fastway Couriers.
  • We do NOT accept international orders.
  • Orders are dispatched within 2 business days. Shipping times are estimated at between 3 and 7 business days depending on your location.
  • We will notify you within 2 business days if we are unable to dispatch your order. In the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you immediately to arrange an agreeable alternative item or a full refund.
  • Wine will not be delivered to an unattended premise. If the driver comes to your delivery address you are away an “article awaiting” card will be left.
  • Wine must be signed for by a person over 18 at the time of delivery.
  • GENTLE FOLK WINE supports the Responsible service of Alcohol across Australia.
    • SA: Liquor Licensing Act 1997, Section 113. Liquor must NOT be supplied to persons under 18.
    • VIC: WARNING: Victoria Liquor Control Reform Act 1998: It is an offence to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (Penalty exceeds $7,000), for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (Penalty exceeds $600). WARNING. Under the Liquor Control Act 1988, it is an offence: to sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years on licensed or regulated premises; or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or attempt to purchase, liquor on licensed or regulated premises.
    • NSW: Liquor Act 2007. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years.
    • QLD: Under the Liquor Act 1992, it is an offence to supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years.
    • WA: Under the Liquor Control Act 1988, it is an offence: to sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years on licensed or regulated premises; or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or attempt to purchase, liquor on licensed or regulated premises.
  • Please note that due to the low levels of sulphur used in our wines, if the weather is extremely hot we may delay the shipping to avoid any stress on the wines. If this ever happens, you will be notified immediately.
  • By shopping via our online store, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions whether as a guest or registered user. By using our site you are indicating you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them. GENTLE FOLK reserves the right to make changes to these conditions at any time, and encourages you to review them regularly. Your continued access and use of the site shall mean your acceptance of these terms and any subsequent changes.

Payments and Refunds

  • Secure Payments can be made via our order online system using Credit Card (MasterCard and Visa) or Debit Card.
  • Secure Payments are processed via eWAY.
  • All prices are in $AUD.
  • All prices include GST. A Tax Invoice/Receipt will be provided listing GST.
  • We do not provide refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. Refunds will be given in compliance with consumer rights.
  • GENTLE FOLK will happily exchange any incorrect or damaged item(s) upon notification within 10 days of receiving goods. We will gladly offer a refund for items we are unable to replace.

  • Security Policy

    When purchasing from GENTLE FOLK WINE, credit card details are processed by the secure payment gateway eWay. Credit Card data is not hosted by GENTLE FOLK or eWay after processing.
